Transform your Golden Age Pre 73 or Chameleon Labs 7602 Microphone Pre Amp into a true British classic.

Don't trust your pre amp modifications to just anyone. Sound Lab has been the foremost authority on modifying these specific units since they were first introduced. There are literally hundreds of our modified units in the field being used every day all around the world.

Our proprietary modifications to these units include replacing the China made input and output transformers with authentic Carnhill/St. Ives British made transformers. The same transformers that are used in the Neve 1073. The signal capacitors are all upgraded to the tantalum type found in the original 1073. The power supply and grounding are reworked in the Pre 73/mk2 as well as a couple of other commonly overlooked changes in all units that we cannot disclose.

1)	Chose the appropriate modification for the unit that you are sending to us and complete the checkout process.
2)	Please be certain that all functions on the unit or units that you are sending to us are working properly. We will verify this before we proceed with any modifications.
3)	Pack your unit carefully in a strong box with adequate padding to avoid damage during shipping. This same box and padding will be used for the return shipping as well, so be sure to do a clean packing job.
